The region enjoys a mild climate, characterized by cool winters and warm summers. Extreme cold is rare and snowfall from year to year is minimal. Summer temperatures range in the 80's and 90's. Spring and fall are nearly perfect with adequate rainfall, maximum sunshine, pleasant temperatures and vivid foliage.The growing season averages 228 days. The average date of the last freezing temperature is in early April and the average first freezing temperature is in early November.Annual average precipitation is 53.46 inches.The January average low is 28 degrees with an average high of 46.8 degrees. The July average low is 68.3 degrees with an average high of 89 degrees.
